Bronte Wanderers FC was formed for the commencement of the 1993/94 season and was the idea of a small group of friends who wanted to create an extra open age football team in the village of Haworth to give more local people the chance to play competitive sport. These individuals organised a series of fundraising activities and approached local businesses to raise the money needed to get the club up and running and then to sustain it through its first season.

As with any small football club the focus is on community and that was the idea behind this website. Elements were taken from the already created Oakworth Juniors and Steeton AFC websites and with additional custom details were made into an online portal that the members and players of Bronte Wanderers could use.

PHP SQL HTML and CSS all play an important role within this website. Also a customized version of a popular forum system was integrated into the site to help arrange matches and training sessions within the club. The site is fully maintained by the club itself via the administration area which was provided.
