BSCP are a civil and structural engineers based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The practice has undertaken a variety of important central and local government projects as well as significant institutional and private commercial/industrial developments. Over the last few years the practice has expanded its sphere of operations to include a number of overseas projects, notably in the Middle East, China, Asia, Hong Kong, Israel, Africa and the Caribbean.

BSCP's original website was completely made in house using only what was then Macromedia Flash (before it was purchased by Adobe). This lead to several problems mainly in the fact that google and other leading search engines couldnt spider and index the site correctly which resulted in people being unable to find the website in the first place which makes for bad business.

With the mindset that the client wished to update and revise aspects of the website themselves the site was created with a backbone of PHP and SQL. A large administration interface was given to the client so they could even add their own pages to the site without having to worry about the code or design of the site.
